Now the annual dx- - pedition to Lista, Zuid-Noorwegen is soon coming, so here´s the invitation to mediumwave and shortwave pirates from Nederland to test out the transmitters and antennas !
We will listen mostly at daytime, from Saturday morning (18. September) to Saturday evening (with small break in the afternoon) and we will also listen throughout Sunday.
Last year we heard 3 watt stations from Friesland, so feel free to test even the tiniest wattages !
We will listen from 1602-1710 kHz and also in-band mediumwave (like 1512, 1566 etc....) so dont hesitate to test your equipment ! We will also tune to the shortwave band inbetween and around 6200-6400 kHz, and also 6500-7000 kHz.
If anyone know for certain what frequency /time they will use for testing/reporting on Saturday / Sunday, we will be happy to know in advance (if possible !)

Lots of stations heard – especially on MW! It is very pleasant to listen to MW during daytime. Almost no noise and little interference. Even S1 signals are readable – if one cranks up the volume a bit!
After sunset (around 2000?) the noise level became very high, with lots of thunder-storm crashes. So we headed to the tent quite early.
We used two Sangean ATS 909 receivers and two 100 m antennas – one directed towards south and one directed towards west. Both antennas were lying on the ground.
We had OK weather. It rained a bit, and the wind was rather strong, but that’s probably normal on the Lista peninsula.
Any help with unidentified stations highly appreciated – especially the MW ones! (We haven’t checked the SW pirate log lists yet, so we’ll probably be able to ID most of the UNID SW stations). Particularly interesting UNIDs: 1521 on Saturday and 1476 and 1539 on Sunday.

Very interesting, this dx-expedition and especially the MW receptions.
I read the announcement on the AM-forum and I tried to make a signal on MW this weekend and I hoped to be heard in Lista too but there were many stations on air this weekend and I can only transmit on 1620 kHz on this moment due to the antenna adjustments.
The interesting part of your list is that there a stations mentioned that I received myself the past 2 days and that some of them had a weak signal with me and you received them as well.
I am some what surprised that this is possible on MW!
This proves that a lot is possible on MW and that makes the hobby very interesting.
Please let me know if you plan this dx-expedition again or if you have more information about this expedition.

Many thanks for your reports, also on behalf of the Flevojager!-his PA is an EL84 !!!- I myself are using 2 pcs 807, the antenna is a helical, topheight is only 7 metres above ground, never thought I could reach you at daylight-time !
