Top 5 'Domestic Pirate' Downloads

Hi,

This is may not be a regular post but a bit of fun from recordings I've been compiling recently.

The following 5 are a selection of short recordings made this week. They are all 180m MW stations (1615 - 1652Khz) received on my 'Cheap Domestic Radio' set within a 2m loop.

So have 'you' made my top 5 'domestics' received and recorded here in NW England ?

At 5, late entry from the king of pirates, transmitting at a lower frequency than usual, Barones on Friday 18th Nov, 1625Khz

At 4, A regular this week with a powerful signal as always on 1629Khz, Calipso

At 3, New to me, I believe a German Talk pirate, Visooter, on 1630Khz, here closing after a 'phone in'

At 2, Zwarte Arabier, breaking through the noise on 1620Khz on monday evening with this ID

Thanks to all stations that continue to transmit on 180m and I look forward to catching you further down the log and hopefully recording you too. Who knows, there may be a December top 5 just before Christmas

The transmitter is here a bc 191. Antenna is a 32 longewire at 17m high horizontal.

i,m very happy with that great audio recording, it's a nice one for the archieve!

krijg de link niet open dan moet ik van alles downloaden

volgens mij moet je ongeveer 10 sec wachten. En dan download aanklikken. En dan helemaal naar beneden gaan.
