I use an open dipole with coils and for physical (neighbor) reasons I can not extend it. Larger coils are almost impossible to make without loss ...

A comment to my own post..

Why not just move the frequency? Because most of our listeners are listening on ordinary older radios and they can not come up higher in Frequency greater than about 1611 or, at best, up on 1620 kHz. without an special ajustment.

I tune up my PA from normaly 10 Watt to absolute max 60 Watt PEP (without modulation of course and in short time ;)...
