Reception in England (Friday, August 5, 2011)

Hi everybody!

Just a couple of stations heard late on Friday evening here in England. As usual, the Lowe HF225 and outdoor magnetic loop were doing all the hard work:

1647 2335 Zeewolf 35333
1636 0005 Soerabaya 25323

Conditions on the band were very strange with many stations from the Balkans audible very well. As a result, the signals from Zeewolf and Soerabaya were very up and down. In fact, at the peak, Zeewolf was heard with 45444 during his music programme that ended at 0034. Soerabaya also hit 45444 for a few seconds, which is incredible considering the power of just 80w

After Zeewolf closed down from his programme, he was heard QSOing with Soerabaya

Thank you very much for the nice and detail reception report with audio recording.
Also thanks for the nice chats during transmission.
Conditions were very strange last night. I got very little reactions (until now ), only you were able to receive Jan and me.
At the end did you receive the Soerabaya better than I could when I hear your recording.
Off course there were many stations present in the evening time and I can not compete with them and that's why a start the show so late.
My intentions are not to interference with them
These reports are still a good stimulus for me to go further with MW dx-ing.

I hope you will receive me again in future times.
