Greetings from England!
This morning at 0655 UTC I was listening to the Torpedojager with a music programme on 1636. Apart from the fading, reception was very good, with SINPO 45523 using only the portable Sony ICF2001D and indoor loop antenna while I was in bed!.
Very interesting to hear Dutch pirates at that time. I have never listened during the morning before, but I think while it is still dark, reception seems to be no problem. I will be listening again at this time!

I'm working on the fact we have only 6 weeks when sunrise in the Netherlands is after 07:30 UTC so we should hear stations with ease until mid January. As for identification of these stations, well that's something else
