Reception in England (January 3, 2012)

Hi there from England! Here are the stations we heard today from the Netherlands. Usual equipment, and all times are UTC:

The biggest signal on the band today was the Oceaan Stomer, more usually known by another name! Lots of stations came up to qso after he closed down and, as usual, Albatros was doing very well with around 75 watts of power

The bad weather conditions meant that some stations were operating with lower antennas than usual. Soerabaya, for example, had his mast at only six metres high, but could still be heard, even with power as low as 40w. Others stations coming in with similar power were Kleine Jopie, who we heard qsoing, and Buurtsuper and Batavia, who were both on air with long music programmes

Good to hear Napoleon with another late-night programme, and also Vulcano, who was heard particularly well at our location

@blauwe reiger : nou ,het verbaasd me niet echt, dat je mij niet meekreeg .

ik heb zowiezo problemen die kant op -(baanbreker

B.v.ontvangt mij moeijlijk en ik hem ook), -

want precies in de lijn, ligt het plaatsje ******** .

ik lig hier op 26m boven nn .het plaatsje ********* ;

ligt op maar liefst 86m boven nn .

dwz. 30m hooger dan de top van m,n antenne .

kun je wel nagaan...............

en dan nog eens met zijbandgespetter -40w en

antenne op 6m
